GETC completed a series of store supply and fit–out projects with one of New Zealand’s premier grocers & liquor retailers. Our Retail division—in partnership with our global manufacturing partner GETC fixtures—has been servicing New Zealand's retail industry for close to 20 years and is the single largest supplier of retail fixtures across the grocery, retail and liquor industry.

As an integral partner of the rapidly growing retailer throughout their recent expansion across the country, GETC was trusted during the opening of several new stores to ensure systems were manufactured, delivered and installed on time and without compromise.

Our team was also sourced to offer expertise during the early planning phases, helping to develop an ideal mixture of differing merchandising systems, suited to the space allowed within each store layout. As the stores have diverse merchandising requirements—with grocery, liquor, fresh food, deli and bakery areas—a range of standard fixtures were offered, alongside complete custom manufactured display systems.

The majority of the retail systems supplied were Delta gondola systems, implemented throughout the store for the high turnover stock. The store planning team at Foodstuffs took full advantage of the flexibility of our Gondola systems, utilising the broad range standard fixtures to create dynamic and intuitive layouts for each floor plan while maintaining consistency across all store locations.

Custom joinery systems required for their bakery and fresh food areas were designed by our in-house design and engineering team, utilising a variety of different finishes and a considered approach to the visual aesthetics of each item.
